I did this for brother's 25th last July. He like's Daft Punk, so... I also popped Porky and Picky Minch from EarthBound in there. The girls are from the cover for the Smashing Pumpkin's Siamese Dream. I did while looking at the original picture on a t-shirt. It took ages.

I will agree with CELS and add that this peice has 1597 unique colours, which hardly seems acceptable (and further suggests that the majority of this piece was copied, or colour reduced from existing images).

I think the primary reason why this hasn't been accepted yet is because you've just copy-pasted a picture (non pixel art) into this piece and used color reduction to make it fit. Right now, it crashes with the overall style of this piece, which is otherwise pretty cool.
