Nothing fancy...

Got inspired by drawingman's Archimedes piece . Hell, I always wanted to do a skull avatar, so 'ere we go.

Switched back to a more realistic style for this one. Fits the theme better I guess.

The ref comes from my recently purchased anatomy books; bammes, bridgeman, loomis ect.... argh, I really need to get better at this stuff. ;)

Hi Mandrill

just passing through to see what you are up to....excellent as always, it's just amazing how you achieve such a realistic shiny yet corroded metal effect with so few colours. 
 
p.s I'll get that line art we spoke of to you one day!.......
