Alright your attention definitely isn't drawn to the summoney at first, he's just a dark shape. Try lightening his color scheme and adding more indicators that he's a humanoid and not just a purple lump.
@zizka: yes, i did too much dithering that it made my works look too noisy. Thanks for reminding me 
I've checked most of your creations and one thing I've noticed is that you're sometimes a bit heavy handed with the dithering. I kind of think it takes away from your stuff. It's still great though
