Been doing pixel art for some time but I'm new here. Starting some sketches for a tcg/minatures game I'm gonna be working on for probably the next few years and figured I'd upload them here for feedback. I've been working on it for awhile already, but I want to update a lot of it stylistically. I recently made a lot of large system simplifications which are gonna let me really diversify the type of units, their colors, and their outfits so I'm excited to dive into the new possibilities. I've really been wanting to draw a wolf recently, I think because I'm excited for the new season of game of thrones, so I drew one.
EDIT: changed proportions and and some shading after some suggestions from inphy. I might have gotten a bit carried away with the dithering. It's hard to stop once you start.

The legs look kind of thick and slightly too long, a wolf has slender legs and looking at a ref the proportion between legs and torso is pretty close to 50:50. The head and neck together look a bit like horse's, maybe because the neck might be a bit too long and the head too high.
Hmm yeah I see what you mean - especially about the head. I'll make some adjustments. Thanks for the feedback!
