Since it's a blanket decal I'd carry over the texture of the cloth to the paw itself. Right now it's just stamped on it appears. But the color is better, there are rarely ever cases to use pure black.

I would use something other than pure black for the paw print, look at pictures of black things, like clothes, they're never pure black, do dark grey.
