The long awaited thrilling conclusion to the Shootmans trilogy, Shootmans III: Götterdämmerung the Final ~ eternal cruel apotheosis ~ Deadly Armageddon Apocalypse Edition - The Official Movie Of The Game Of The Book, is finally coming out -- and now with at least 50 % more mans to shoot than in Shootmans II! New man shooting technology together with DawnBringer's DB32 palette brings shooting mans to the new millennium exclusively on Amiga 500. Atari owners can go play whatever it is they play on their machines; it sure as heck ain't going to be Shootmans III! First my idea was just a static shoot'em up screen, then it of course had to be animated, then I just had to have a loading screen, then a lobby screen.. I ended up spending something silly like 15 hours on the logo alone before even starting on the actual game part, and I was worried that together with the other screens, I wouldn't have the time. In the end, it's pretty close to what I wanted to do. The main title is really great! I like a lot also the other graphic elements!

The gameplay is not so good... I mean:

Thanks! Yeah, the sprites are not as good as I had hoped. I'm not happy with the tileset either, I was hoping to have more time for them, but alas. I could've spent at least a couple of extra hours on them, I had to reserve time for baking all the stuff in into actual frames too but that went faster than I thought. Overall it might've been better to scale down a bit right from the start instead of trying to cram in everything and the kitchen sink, heh. :)

Absolutely amazing
my one critique would be that the characters seem a little stiff and disproportionate, but considering the amount of time you had to put this together I can see where you would end up short on time to design something better. They definitely get the point across.
