I've been doing pieces lately without outlines/contours and I've learned (with some help) that its best to do those when you have a specific background in mind.

Thanks! It helped me understand shark anatomy more when I modeled it in 3D for school =)

This is a really cute piece, the shark is in quite a dynamic pose! And, it does look good with a light background.
