I've seen it before but I can't recall if it was in my Mega Man 2 (PAL cartridge) but it's been years since I played all the way through it.  I probably saw the outfit on the internet though.  

Thanks, yeah, I was trying to remember if he wore this outfit in any other game than the second, and I think the only other possibility was the soccer game. I'm not even sure he wore it in the American version of Megaman 2, so it maybe even more esoteric than I thought.

I think he dressed that way cos he likes football.  I mean there was even a Mega Man Soccer game on SNES wasn't there. :P
