I don't have much experience designing vehicles, but I was going  for something hyper-stylized and somewhat phallic with at least the suggestion of wings. The colors used here are deep and highly saturated, which will hopefully work well with the game these sprites are for. I tried to come up with a slight variation in design for each biker, but they have all chrome-plated bodies, which makes sense in-universe.
