True words have been spoken here. Creating good previews for the weekly is not without complicacy.

Love this piece, the hard lines of the city contrast so well with the curves of his jacket. Also he looks like the Terminator.

Would look a lot better with a transparent background imo, but that's not your fault. You should re-examine the preview though, it sucks.

I was thinking that too while I was working on the shapes. I tried to add some windows and straighter lines but that only made it look more like perforated cardboard. :)

That looks great and uses the palette well I think. One minor thing maybe, I didn't read the edges as cityscapes, I thought they were like a microchip or some kind of circuitry. But that's probably just me.

I didn't quite manage to get that part right. I had the aa colour go farther in lenght here and there but it made the edges look a bit too blurry. Guess I wasn't doing it right anyway. Cheers for the hint. ;)

This is very nice. Very graphic. Only small nitpick is that some of the aa should be longer, like the one around the brow, since you are antialiasing longer lines, a single pixel does not make sense.
