Something I've been working on off/on for like a year and a half. (I'm not completely dead!?) Potentially posted a really rough beginning on the forums well over a year ago. I've been pretty inactive since then, mostly becuase my studios at uni took up so much time that I couldn't find time to pixel. I finished it before Christmas, but haven't had time to stick it up here.
Basically I just wanted to experiment with lighting/mood/color. I was heavily influenced by Romantic paintings, specifically oil paintings of shiprecks and hurricanes, like those that Joseph William Turner and Joseph Mallord. I put it in a frame to tie it back into its influence and because....... I like frames, hahaha. I'm playing with the idea of incorporating this into a series of pieces of morbid–themed water pieces with romantic inspiration. (I've started a second, we'll see... maybe I'll post some stuff on the forums before I finish it, but it's probably going to be a patched–together piece like this.)
It could probably suffer more tweaking, but I'm sick of it, and... I've moved on. ;)

Thank you. I might come back to it and fix the dithering... I definitely went overboard with it. >:P
