Another "lost and found" old stuff - its'a pixelled reproduction of an old illustration created by JIM BURNS - a great well-known sci-fi illustrator (sorry, but I don't remember the name of that illustration).

Amiga, Deluxe Paint, 32 colors, all pixels robotized by my hand, one after another.

horcy (Level 2 Corporal) at 12/4/2006 3:10:19 PM

FlyGuy (Level 6 Made) at 11/27/2006 11:31:01 AM
Wow this is fucking amazing...It comes at you.

eckered (Level 3 Stalker) at 11/17/2006 6:02:03 PM

holy shit.

Mullet (Level 1 Jukyu) at 6/26/2006 2:48:47 PM
This is much better than your others. And at 32 colors, there are no questions as to whether or not it's pixel art. I have to say though, the blue could certainly blend in better.

Ensellitis (Level 11 Special Agent) at 6/12/2006 11:28:44 PM
This is insane!

haz633 (Level 1 Rookie) at 5/19/2006 2:54:08 PM

SmithyGCN (Level 1 Rookie) at 3/12/2006 9:44:10 AM
O.o At first I thought that this was a photograph... seems I was wrong.

slay (Level 1 Rookie) at 2/4/2006 1:57:37 AM
Thanks for all your comments.

The B.O.B.: It took me about 3 weeks to create, but it was many years ago
(about 10 or even more). Now I should create the same piece in 3-4 days.

And as I'm not the original creator of it, I'm not sure what is the
source of the blue light, maybe it's a space dust? :] Anyway, the
composition is more interesting with this blue color.

Ongaku (Level 1 Rookie) at 2/2/2006 7:09:23 PM
Very cool what a real piece of art

Larwick (Level 8 Shodan) at 2/2/2006 2:53:35 PM
The detail and lifeness is incredible. The colours chosen "harmonize" (as my old art teacher would say) with each other perfectly. I keep trying to find out what exactly i'm looking at, but it all adds to the mystery i suppose!

jonny rice (Level 4 Mercenary) at 2/2/2006 2:30:22 AM

wat is it ????

acrylicana (Level 1 Intern) at 2/1/2006 3:33:02 PM
I most definately want to check out the program you use definately interested.
Anywho, nice job all the same. Great to see some old school sci-fi art fans.

Blueberry_pie (Level 7 General Manager) at 1/31/2006 11:50:29 PM
D'oh. Make that 32 colours.
PJ needs an edit feature :(

Blueberry_pie (Level 7 General Manager) at 1/31/2006 11:49:42 PM
14 colours? Damn!
Five star and a fav for sure.

(I'm getting the feeling I've said this before)

The B.O.B. (Level 10 Master Sniper) at 1/31/2006 11:49:24 PM

dammit, why do you have to be so amazing. It just isn't fair, you demoscene, or should I say deity-scene bastard. Great friggity-friggin job as usual. One question though, if this thing is on the moon, why is there some type of blue(almost earth-sky toned blue) reflecting off the top of the machine? Or is it just a shade of shinyness poppin' off the machine?...and if you have time to answer one more question, just how long did it take you, or should I say, does it take a pixel artist to get to the level that you have already achieved? Once again, too damn amazing...

jalonso (Level 11 Godfather) at 1/31/2006 12:18:10 PM
I know its not yours but, that composition is awesome. Thanks for turning me on to Jim Burns.

Badassbill (Level 8 Cannibal) at 1/31/2006 11:57:23 AM
Very nicely done. Subtle dithering to make a good texture and no 10,000 colours, one of your best imo.

HMC (Level 5 Killer Klown) at 1/31/2006 11:52:33 AM
Holy crap, wow.

Monkey 'o Doom (Level 11 Psychopath) at 1/31/2006 11:48:07 AM
