Get off the middle of the road!
Great piece. I love the style.
Ok, so here goes the version with the smoother sky gradient ;-)

CELS: I don't regurlarly upload stuff for general purposes, so what would be a good "hoster"? Imgur? What do you suggest / use? (I don't want to go through any registering stuff right now ;))
Could we have a link to the original gif, with the gradient? While heretical and decadent, it certainly was very pretty :)
Nice. Really great work on the colors and animation. I kinda got lost staring at this. I really like the retro feeling and I didn't even notice the jumpy trees at first until I read your description. I find nothing wrong with them, they work well with the jumpy car.
Great piece!, however, you have one frame off causing a slight jumping effect which is getting on me.(Who knows, it might just be me)
Glad to find someone who also appreciates Mitch Murder! One of my absolute favourites, especially when driving ;)
That is some shit suspension...
I like that you didn't make it totally symmetric, ie the mirrors and roadlines. Nice work anyways.
The Corvette never die... and charger 1966 will not die.
Well jalsonso, thanks, but since "Our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us" I guess I'll have to best the Little Danny with some othe piece in the future ;)
Its a great piece and fun animation but not better then the #1 top ranked lil'dude of all time
Thanks for the hint, Manupix. I mutilated the preview picture to squeeze it into 10K... not sure if I like the result though :D. But I guess grayscaling it or removing the animation will produce less interest and fewer clicks...
EDIT: Changed it again to a 1x1 pixel preview with the big one as a darker still in the background. I think I'm fine with this version...
Great work, the retro touch is very well managed.
The tree "jumpiness" is not at all a hindrance as you said (Outrun ref) and I would also add it matches well the large scale you went for.
Just gorgeous. Great colors, nice animation, cool retro feel. :D
Uploaded a rework, hopefully now it's fine with the rules.
Well, technically, you could use the same reasoning for just about anything digital since everything is made up of pixels...
It looks cool but as Cels said, gradient isn't going to cut it.
CELS > I think I have a slight idea what you mean. I have reviewed the rules and it says "no gradient fills" indeed, though I find this a bit vague, since e.g. the night sky could as well be done by handpicking the colors and doing doing the lines each by each, with the same result. In fact, Deluxe Paint even had a function for creating palette gradients.
Alas, since this piece is still unapproved, I'd like to hear some admin's opion(s) here, anybody? :)
This is so awesome! Nostalgia overload! But it seems like you've got some use of gradients here, which means you may have difficulty getting this into the gallery.
Simple and lovely!
