if you look to my previous post I have an array of 4 body types and a few head variants...I just am posting so I can review my work easier, as well as get feed back as great as yours. As I seek to get better at this, because I am not very good as of yet...since I'm making a game and don't have a proper character artist I am forced to try my unaided hand and train myself
Yes and no. People who create muscle babies tend not to create actual character designs. They put details that won't actually appear in their characters into their "base" in the form of musculature and anatomy, which it is unlikely they mean for all of their characters to possess, while neglecting other key facets of character design.
For example, in this sprite, you felt that nipples and a belly button were important enough to pixel in, but eyes, a nose, a mouth, and ears were not. More problematic, this muscle baby has broad shoulders and large hands and biceps, like it's a guy, but it also has enormous breasts and a defined Apollo's belt leading to a basically nonestistent groin. The result is nothing so much as a naked, faceless, ambiguously-sexed, bald baby on steroids, which is somewhat unsettling.
It's fine to have muscular characters, super-deformed characters, bald characters, naked characters, or even intersexed characters, but I don't think this "base" will be very well received or even very useful to you. That being said, don't let this feedback stop you from continuing to post. For the time being, however, you may want to give the idea of posting "bases" a rest, and post your finished characters instead. This one is well done.
Keep at it. Hope to see more from you.
