i dont know why but that kind of ocean colour freaks me out. not to mention its a beast
@Æslet - This guy is Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure DX, the final boss of the game. He's basically a huge water beast with the power to flood the world. I guess a good guy to compare him to is Sin from Final Fantasy X, or maybe a Gozilla made of water.
The scene will be out around the time Sonic Boom comes out. ;D
there are certainly some blemish areas, but easily overlooked. My biggest criticism is that it looks like a sticker.
Still, quite the inspirational piece, and I love chaos
Wait, Is what Nessie?
Incredible. I zoomed right in on this beast of a piece and every pixel's just perfectly placed, this is organized chaos at its best and legit pixel art at its finest :D Cheers!
@Elk - I blame you for torturing myself ispiring me to do this with that 960x640 monster you did, so thanks! ;D
I agree with Mandrill, i want to see it in context!
otherwise a really huge and well done piece of PA.
This cries for a backround or the scene you talk about in the description. The PJ grey doesn't really do it justice!
I would almost say that it is too big to be a working pixel art sprite... but I have to admit you did a pretty good job .
All of this texture is just so remarkable. The shapes and formes present here are extremely well done and almost illustrates a transparency in the creature. Simply incredible.
It's beautiful work and very impressive for its size. That said, I think in putting so much work into the small-scale texturing you may have lost sight of the larger-scale shading, and this (along with the somewhat rounded border) tends to make it look somewhat flat. But it's still a remarkable piece of work, and I do commend you.
Let's see what's new on PixelJoint -> Clicked on "Perfect Chaos" (interested)
-> Saw this
-> And...
screaming "AWESOME".
It is AWESOME pixelart, and just 16 color used
This was drawn pixel by pixel bro.
Glad you think it wasn't, that means I did a good job! xD
It's very detailed, but I'm not sure something drawn with such large brush tools has the pixel-precision to be considered pixel art.
Ohh my. That water effect is delicious.
