Abstract representation for the weekly challenge.

The song is Lateralus by Tool.

This is the lyrics that inspired the shapes and colors.
The numbers are the number of syllables in each strophe to replicate part of the Fibonacci sequence.

[1] then
[2] white are
[3] all I see
[5] in my infancy.
[8] Red and yellow then came to be
[5] reaching out to me
[3] lets me see.

[2] There is
[1] so
[1] much
[2] more and
[3] beckons me
[5] to look though to these
[8] infinite possibilities.

[13] as below so above and beyond I imagine
[8] drawn beyond the lines of reason
[5] push the envelope
[3] watch it bend.

In the lyrics "spiral out " refers to the Fibonacci Spiral, an aproximation of the Golden spiral, which can be drawn using the Fibonacci sequence.

The challenge calls for no recognizable objects whatsoever; I believe the eye towards the bottom of the right half counts as an object. Other than that, nicely done.

Yes I was prone to a darker design in the beginning (like the one in the preview), but then I prefered to focus on the colors of the lyrics and of the music I was picturing in my mind, with the ending being kinda explosive to me :)

Tool is my favorite band :] Really nice choice of song, and I really like the piece.  Would've loved a little more Tool esque design though
