- Yea, there some isses with the dithering. The colors aren't that 'dither-able' the white, then the other colors. Also the middle of the circle there are a lot of random pixels. I like the colors, but the technique used didn't work this time = / -
Looks like an eclipse to me. The two darker pixels at the edge of the circle look out of place, though. Really neat effect anyways. Very dramatic.
Really cool illumination effect. The extremly high saturated red right between the dark and light colours does the trick.
Justin is right about the dithering though, I think the piece would look much better without it. But you could still use that light brown/red as AA.
Seems to be a blackhole sun, but it you kinda over used your dithering tool.
It looks like a solar eclipse during a solar storm.Anyway, a nice dithering exercise here. I think it works pretty well.
The only thing I'd change is the center of the moon, I'd made the center of it in the darkest color.
