What Petruszka says. Your previous version is much better in this respect (midground hills being more contrasted than faraway mountains).
Also the composition is not so great, especially the awkward way elements align with each other: tree / mountain pass / big cloud in a line; big cloud symmetric to mountain pass; other clouds more or less papallel to mountains; big empty sky.
The perspective and colors are messed up. Those mountains really stand out as if they don't belong there at all. They are way too much dark and sharp, the layer under them is quite blurred and light in comparison to them and this causes the oddness of the picture.

The tree trunk could do with a bit of shadow at the top underneath the foliage and perhaps the the grass is a bit too light, but nice pixelling!
nice shading
