It will, because the preview is below the 10k limit. However you could make it even lighter by saving it as png-8 instead of png-24, or change it from RGB to indexed color mode (same thing, according to which software you use), or save as gif.

Looks great! Really love the water. A small nitpick, I think it might look better if you moved the nose down one pixel or so (perhaps that's just me though), it still looks really awesome!
