Now that you mention it, yeah claw shield should be in your left hand. :P
But I did it in his right hand, because I think it is better to protect its position note.
Although could generate a position where the sprite makes a pose showing his left hand with claw shield.




 

Very cool.  Though perhaps a bit too much like Gods in the tilework and colours.  And Lion-O's claw shield should be on his left hand on the sprite like you have on the large image of him.   Other than that it looks like a fun game. :)

Ohhh te ha quedado bastante bien, quizá le daría un pelín más de volumen a los sprites en general, pero has hecho un buen trabajo. ¡¡Esos dibujos los veía yo de pequeña!! jajaja
