I like it, it's very clear and simple.

If you took away a bit of the helmet at the back to define it further, and maybe add something like goggles or a chinstrap to show it's a helmet, I think that'd help make it more recognisable.

i think there could be a little more definition in the hair, as well as maybe a sub-layer of colour in the soil. Apart from that, love the look!
