It's simple and old-school but I think you made the best fog effect. Voted.

Didn't know Kavinsky, but yeah it has some esthetic in common XD

 
I tried with grey (i made an animation previously) but i've changed to purple. I don't know why but lately this color attracts my attention.

The fog is really nice and I particularly like the colours used. On a seperate tangeant it really reminds me of Kavinsky
