Looks way more fluid than what Midora currently offers in combat aesthetics. This is cool.

I set it to 24fps and then play with the timing, some frames last longer than others.
Online tools you might find useful: Gif Explode (gives erratic results for this particular anim though); new beta PJ specs tool with gif features (click arrows).
What is the fps used in this specific gif? And if it's not too much trouble, can you .zip all of the frames used and upload them? I'd really like to analyze what you did so I can use it in some of my own animations.
Nice, but I don't get the moving 'platform'. It looks like a hole in the ground; if it's a shadow, it's way too dark, large and static.
The hair and that little spear shudder at the end are beautifully done.
