The creases on his face look a bit too dark, it really puts some age on him. When you pixel from a photo, I would avoid the method you used, as that's basically bordering on plagiarism (what you're essentially doing is tracing). Using a reference is fine, but pixeling right on top of the image isn't going to make for a strong (or original) piece.
