Don't be sorry ;) it is a 1 point perspective but it is nevertheless wrong with the horizon position.
The converging lines are all in a horizontal plane, the horizon line is also in that plane so the vanishing point is necessarily on the horizon, as you can see in those examples (this is just a random link, there are countless tutos out there and I don't recommend one in particular).

You didn't study the noobtorial carefully enough: the vanishing point should be on the horizon line ;)
The awning lines shouldn't be parallel. Most diagonal lines are very jaggy, more than the un-pixel-friendly angles make inevitable.
