I can't speak for anyone else, I personally find it very fun and relaxing, gets me right into my zen zone :D
i still dont understand why people choose to pixel art in this style. What's the point???? It'd be like trying to do high res brush visual art with pixels...Just..why??
Thank you! I did just lessen the curve on the lower legs, hope it helped at least a little!
Eurika! Perfect! Thank you #2! That link is just what I needed to wrap my brain around some proper AA-ing! I also changed the yellow in the shirt and made the leg curves a little less dramatic
The legs below the knee caps bug me, but other than that it is really very nice.
what color do you think would be use for a variety of background colors?
Can't be done. I don't like that selective AA business, because of how the long tangent pixel rows look like on dark bgs. If you insist on outside AA, add a bg.
You're welcome
Good lord! I see what you're saying!! I don't know if the monitor I was using was off in color (did this one at work on my work computer) or my eyes just wanted me to see what they wanted me to see, but the yellow on the shirt is jumping right out at me now! Ridiculous lol. I'll check with the background AA too, what color do you think would be use for a variety of background colors? I use the tropical or beach theme, the one with the light blue background, so I didn't even notice.
I love this, with some reservations =)
The legs stylized curvature is exaggerated, relatively to the more realistic look elsewhere, they look like pony legs.
Outside AA is almost invisible on the PJ default theme, and would not work on darker themes.
Also yellowish AA to the shirt purple doesn't work well because of saturation clash.
Awwww so kind, thank you! :D
