@skamocore - Funny you mention that.. I immediately felt something was off about the angle on top of the buildings. Here is a real life example of how a scene like this would look. (forgive me I was sloppy with finding the vanishing point) i.imgur.com/7bwGuvY.gif
Hey, it's better, but not quite there.
Look here.
I've show where the vanishing point (yellow circle) should be given the lines on the ground (red lines). Based on that, all the purple lines I've drawn (stemming from the top slope of the buildings) need to connect with the vanishing point.
Alright! Thank you for the clarification and the critique! not editing anymore, I'll keep it :)
In one-point perspective, lines that move toward or away from the camera all converge on the same point, assuming they are parallel. In this case, this still isn't one-point perspective because the lines along the tops of the buildings do not recede towards the same point in the center of the image as the road.
That said, I actually like how it looks, and I think there's definite value in messing with perspective... it just doesn't meet the challenge guidelines!
It's a nice rendering, but it's still out of perspective. You should check it with a 1 point grid.
Wish I could, but this is pretty hard x_x been trying since the beggining, and still trying!
Of course! a3um is one of my favorite artists ever!! thanks!!
Those clouds remind me of a3um's style. Very nice. (Take that as a compliment) -- And the shadows on the city are great!
I'd make a second version while I'm at it. This could be a winner.
A very nice piece, but it doesn't fit one-point perspective. I'll add it to the gallery, but not to the challenge.
A similar image I found while quickly looking through Google Images. Notice how all the lines that make up the sides of the buildings are all converging towards a single point in the background.
nice landscape
not sure about this central road or whatever it is
