This is Leito, an original character. In fact, he was the first character of mine who had a name and a personality and a story.

There are plenty of problems with this piece (the feet oh dear God the feet), but keep in mind I'm a total newbie and I did this with a trackpad; I've only done regular old digital and traditional drawing/painting with a tablet and I've gotten accustomed to it over the course of my 17 years.

I plan to make a video game over the course of the next five years, and Leito will be a main/playable character. I'll make another piece in this style of his female counterpart, Faye.

Thank you. I'm not overthinking shading as much; I'm still trying to figure out how to make the background transparent without screwing up the pixels, as I was trying to do that before I submitted it. ^^; I've done it before in programs other than Aseprite, but something keeps going wrong. Ah, well. I'll get the hang of it.

I think this would be better with a transparent background. At the moment, the arms and legs get lost in the black. The face lacks contrast too, but for a first piece, this is nice.
