Weekly Challenge: Lipstick Figure
Looks a lot like Andrae's submission, beyond just the highlights. Head and neck shape, general lighting and color placement. The reflective glasses are a nice touch but I would've liked to have seen a more original submission.

I suppse you're right (though all lot of my faved pieces aren't maxed out with the rating :C)
I like how her eyes look from behind those spectacles.. I was geeking out and comparing the percentages of colours used for all of these entries in the new image spec tool and I'm seeing two transparent colours used in yours.. With a total of ELEVEN colors. 
Still gonna fave cause I know you'll fix it as soon as you can.

this is reallllyyy well done; just look at the improvement from your avatar!!
only gripe is the shadow under the cheekbone - it looks kind of band-y, since the red and pink shades are almost the exact same shape.
That's even better then. The lips are especially beautiful and moist and the eyes offest and half hidden by the glare of the glasses add so much to her.
Her face is shy, tender and very beautiful and the subtle suggestion of sexuality shown by the implied 'geisha' thang in her hair.
Just a great great portrait...

Yeah you are correct, I was looking at Andraes submission which is what made me change the piece quite a lot near the end of the WIP gif. To be honest though, I wasn't really looking at the facial structures of Andraes piece, but more-so the lighting as you mentioned. You're right though, it does lack quite a bit of orginality in terms of those points mentioned, which I will hopefully make up for with my future pieces :(
As for the neck and head shape, I wasn't really looking at that piece for those things in particular. Imo compared to Andraes piece, I find that this has a much longer face and stubbier neck.
