Awesome, what software do you use to make such a good animation?
Yeah, I guess I'll be keeping it then. Thanks for suggesting that man!
@Finlal and Crafty
Thanks a lot you two!
It looks better with that extra color in there. I would definitely not remove the background, or go with an outline. The reason I was drawn to this piece was how rich the colors and lighting looked against the black background.. I use a blue themed user interface for pixeljoint so if you left it transparent it would look really bad on my background, no telling how it would look with all the other users.
Just fixed it, I think (I might add even more frames to make it even smoother though) :D
@Skeddles
Thanks so much man!
@Bathmaster
Thanks dude, I appreciate it!
Yeah, it seems the general crit is about that, I just added a few more frames to smooth things down (and made the jump go higher). Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the comment dude! I just added another colour, not sure if it's looking better or not though :C
I'm thinking that maybe I should just ditch the black BG all together and just outline it in black.
Thanks for the c+c man! I added a few more frames, I switched it too 75 milliseconds per frame, it was at 100 before but 50 was just too fast.
That's some good animation.
Though it's not really smooth. If you have time, try to add more frames to highest and lowest points.
Also, can't wait for 64x64.
Dude your use of colors here...really really good. I kind of wish there was 1 more transitinal color to the black, or at least some light AA on that maroon outline when it hits the black. I 2nd what the others are saying about the animation. Still this is totally awesome, if your challenge entry is anything like this I will definitely vote for it.
What Cyangmou said . Perhaps it could bounce higher too to get more out of the bouncing animation.
I personally would double the amount of frames (and the speed) to make it even smoother, aside from that it's adorable.
Yeah, oh well, I'll be making another one anyways since I need a new avatar :P
Too bad you couldn't get it into the challenge
Nice animation though!
I use GIMP! Before I was using GIMP and Aseprite, but I find that gimp is just better overall.
@Lyud
Thanks so much mate!
