Not just a walnut, but it seems a basketball, a orange, An Electrode (That pokeball shaped pokemon) and many other things...

I didn't want to make a classic pumpkin.

Thanks a lot Jal. The original project was to make a snake pumpkin, since pumpkin can be of a lot of shapes, unfortunately it was really hard to make it readable within a 64x64 canvas, so I made something simpler.
