The background is truly the best part of this piece. However, I don't want to trash the work that you spent on the head, either. The head's shading is spectacular.

I don't care about the head. Despite it's good, the background is what i love in this pixelart! Te use of circles and layers inspires me to experiment with similar things (of course not to copy you).

I love the background. Nice use of red colours aswell. Only thing is that I think is't to dark, but I'm not shure... FAV anyways.

I like it. The background design and effects are great to help balance out the compisition. And I also think you did a great job with the "thick" shading of the character. Too cool for school.
