I see what you mean. I found it difficult to add detail that didn't look messy, maybe I just need more unique tiles for it.
Railroad for a really big train :-)
the thing with the railroads is that is doesnt use the same pixel clustering as the rest of the piece. in that way it does look like it is missing detail. try to give it more wear as railroads are not always in perfect condition, y'know?
Yeah, I don't know about the trees either. What I really wanted to do was make much larger trees, but that is very difficult for me to pull off.
Do you think the railroad tracks don't have enough detail? Or maybe the colors? Not sure what about it doesn't match the rest.

wow! i REALLY love this piece, but there's something about the trees that feel odd. it might be your style, but they look too rectangular for me. also, the railroad tracks dont really seem to fit with the rest of the piece.
