Frankie, this is amazing in all meanings. Nice colors, details and design.

I think some fish scales and sea weed here and there would fit the theme.

Youre right, that high contrast cluster clashes with the textured stuff. I gave it a bit of the same texture as the fibres, so the gray there looks like its thinner fibres instead of raw skull outside of the highlight. (might have to refresh the page to see the updated detail image?)

The brightest white highlight on the skull of the dude on the right looks a bit strange, feels like it could be positioned a bit more towards the top of the skull because it seems a bit out of place currently (I think it's just because of how close it is to the muscle fibres, it just seems odd having all that detail next to a very large single colour pixel cluster)

The bird/horse thing is fantastic though (especially the teeth!), as is the rest of the skeleton dude and the colours are great!

Really love the poses of both of them too.
