Hey I thought of marines when I saw this too... it's the banner.

Anyway, about the actual piece:
The banner is awesome. The colour of hte metal is pretty cool and the design of the axe is good. I think the head's a little boring, and the armour could use a few more cool details. His (his) right foot looks very different from his left, and it's strange. Like, right has toes, left doesn't. I would like more contrast and shininess on the axe, atm it doesn't look metal. The blade especially needs some extreme highlighting.

It's very good, specially that flag! But I think you could try making the shadow below him a bit lighter... ^_~

Nice colours, high contrast. Looks a bit like a Space Marine. The shadow blends with his feet though. Keep up the good work.
