I agree with FlyGuy, the repetition in the snow is distracting.

I think you should have the larger clumps of snow, which are presumably closer to the viewer, use a lighter colour, to create more depth. The snow overlapping the forest could stand to be lightened overall, it's hard to see that there even is snow there. Maybe use the colour of the sky? That might also help you reduce the colour count, depending on how else you're using that super-dark blue.

Perfect. Maybe go with a less pattern'ish approach on the falling snow. Aside from that this is very awesome to look at.
