Fox drawing reminds me "Redwall" animated series ) Thank you for pleasant memories!
@Zizka- Thanks! I only post what I finish and I don't finish much
@eishiya- Well spotted! I've changed the cast shadow to fit the room better.
Thanks for the comments, all!
You should share more stuff, tyrant, it's always nice to see your creations.
I think the cast shadow from the fox makes the perspective look worse than it is. The shadow makes it look like the viewer is relatively low to the floor, while everything else points to the viewer being higher.
Thanks, everybody!
@jtfjtfjtf- Thanks for the crit! I guess my ramshackle window doesn't quite fit as well as I had hoped. And I admit the perspective is a bit distorted due to one perspective point being too close. Next time I'll try to set up my perspective grid a bit better.
@king bobston- Thanks for the crit, I'll probably change the window(you and jtfjtfjtf agree on it not fitting in) and maybe take another pass on the carpet later today.
Very nice piece. I agree with king_bobston about the perspective. It would make more sense for the window cross bar to align with the right vanishing point. If it's supposed to just be a crooked window it's a bit of a jarring decision. Also, the wood panels on the floor are converging a little too quickly.
I love this! Very atmospheric.
My only two crits are the perspective (especially the horizontal part of the window frame is confusing me) and that the carpet looks kind of lazy compared to the rest.
Thanks, guys!
