I saw this technique aplied on other challenges. I didn't wanted to fool anyone as it looks obvious. My bad for not reading the rules or comment about about it.

This picture looked so familiar to me and I got suspicious with the contrast of quality between the painting like background and the single colored lightning effect so I did a little research.

I knew I saw this picture somewhere else. You should have showed this reference with your work.
Props on getting all of that into such a small size. I think it may be a little too small though.
My favorite so far. I just find it's too bad the lightning doesn't light its surroundings.
The colours and lightning effect are very cool, but it's hard to make out anything other than that because there's so much single-pixel noise everywhere. If your goal is to create a rough texture, do it with roughly shaped clusters instead, it'll look like texture then instead of noise.
This is greate beside the clolour of the thunderstruck(s) and the amount of the "branches". Top work! I like it alot. =)
