You have improved soooooo much since the olden days of PJ :D This newer stuff of yours is absolutely fantastic.
If your goal is to make them look pale and sickly, I think the skin should not be so blue. It doesn't read as human-like skin at all, which prevents it from reading it as pale/sickly, it simply reads as not-human, no more sickly and just as alien as neon purple skin would look.
