I really love the colors there: the brown and the grey! Nice work!
Zizka>> Ohhhhhh thank you Yes sure, I won't give up! Right now (even if it's been a while since I didn't touch it again) I'm working on a "big" piece (I mean relatively large) and I will post it on the forum because it's large and as the other larges pixel pieces I made, if I want it to be accept, I need your advice =) (But now I'm busy with life, sadly).
Lux pp>> I'm glad you like it, if you don't eat it! =D
CakeDrake>>Thank you =D
I'm glad you didn't give up and continued to submit stuff. Would've been a shame if you had left.
The texture of the feathers, and the hay look really nice!
MotorRoach>> Oh thank, I also was really suprise and glad at this end about the result of the feathers! I've been lucky! =D
Erico>> Yeah thank you, I made the choice to let a strong outline because I found it was cool to insist on the shape. As you said, it's just a choice, it could habe been nice too to made it more soft. =)
Alvarop and zizka>> thank you! =D
That is a wonderful shading. You did a really good job on the feathers.
It is when I see this that I´m sure the Chicken came first!
Mega>> Thank you for my little chicken =D hi! hi!
eishiya>>Yes, your're true, their is a stray orange on the straw, it's a mistake. On the other side, I made 2 little pens on its tail in purpose. I thought it was funny, and it break the homogeneous form =)
'' Is it pixel art? '' of course it is, that is a nice chicken.
It's pixel art. Each pixel directly contributes either to clusters or to lines, and each colour contributes meaningfully (meaning you're not wasting any colours).
You appear to have a stray orange pixel on the left part of the staw, and I can't tell what the lines coming out near the tail are meant to be, though xP But those issues (if they are issues at all) don't make this any less pixel art :]
Merciiii =D
