Immediately recognizeable as Metal slug style! Nice. Although I think the gun recoil may not be exaggerated enough.

I think "Team Slug 2" is a lot more descriptive, since it has more key words from both titles.

Well done. You really did capture the Metal Slug feel. 

Metal Fortress 2 sounds much better. And this is amazingly styled.
