4RBL: Thanx...:)
I can't help myself, but I like a little bit saturated colors...:D
You are right, there are a few shading styles, but I like all of them...:) But be sure, I still try to find my own style, so maybe I will find that right one for me one day...:D
4 Manupix: Thanx for your inspirative comments...:)
You are right, half-circle windows are not good, I will repair it...
I want to reduce a pallete of course, but I will do it after finnishing of whole tiles and objects for this project...:) I already tried to do automatic color redux to 32, and then to 16 colors, and it still looked good...:) But you are right, it is not the way I wanna go, but it is good for an inspiration what to do with pallete...:)
Insane detailing and texturing!
A few nitpicks: I'd love to see some irregularity, age and wear in the wooden beams; the roof should overhang more; the very flat plaster walls contrast with the detail elesewhere (I do love flat featureless areas as eye resting places, it's the inconsistency that bothers me).
The perspective of the half-circle window tops is wrong, as you can see by comparing with the correct full circle window (sides are of different heights).
42 colors is pretty reasonable for this piece, but you should nevertheless try to recycle those colors (instead of 'mapping' a color ramp or subpalette to a specific material), and reducing the color count is a good tool to try and fix that, at least as an inspiration tool (even fooling around with color redux might give you ideas of where to go) (I never said that )
I kind of like the saturation on this. Maybe it's not so good for the eyes if I'd watch this for a longer periods of time. It's still very good. Everything looks so detailed and interesting. Good stuff. Cheers!
Too saturated colors. It nees more shadow/light contrast in some areas like wooden frames. Shading is unconsistent, there are soft dithering, hard dithering, and plains. It looks made from diferent people.
However the drawing and textures are realy well done, that grass is beautiful. Building design is interesting. With a revisted pallete the whole picture would be really better.
Great textures on the ground, grass and stone, roof tiles are nicely shaped. Wood grain is good, just too orangey for me, it blends too much with the roof. Love the shape and shading on the bowl, spoon and mug
Woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is so cool!! "For the android project" What project I must see it!
4Manupix: I repaired half-circle windows... I hope...;)
