I like the black outline.. and something about the whole piece is reminding me of something from the 8-bit days but I can't place it...

Yeah, I debated a litle while on how I should make it stand out. I decided on a black border because I only plan on using the piece as an avatar for different forums which will have different colors. But yeah, it throws the piece off, I know. -_-

One thing is bad: the outline; you should've made no black outline. Besides it's very nice (i like it how you managed not to draw fingers in hands).
