Maybe it's the shading? I used a photo as a reference, and I think the hand in that is kinda weird looking too. :P If I have time, I can work it a bit later and see if it helps. I've adjusted the harshness of the lips. :) Thank you for the crit!
I've edited the color on the lips so that it's less harsh. ^^
The hand looks a little large in relation to the face, it may just be the way it is shaded though. It's a well done image though :) I'd have to agree with J' the very lightest colour is a bit too bright or there's a bit too much of it. Perhaps if it was more like the two drips either side of the upper lip???
The lighest color is not working for me because the dithering on the lips is far too obviously seen.
That made a big difference :)
