Not necasarilly, the screen and top of the 3DS happen to be really dark, I think I was trying to conserve colors, but I can fix that to make the screen more visible

Well, the VB was marketed as the first "portable" console, whereas there is no ambiguity for the G&W being handhelds (but also portable). However, G&W are individual eletronic games and not consoles, so maybe that's the distinction to make.
