Some faux c64 style work from awhile back. The main restrictions I worked with were colour and double width pixels, so some of the more technical restrictions weren't followed. (more so on the peasant girl).

Big thanks to the pixelation forum for these guys.

I quite like these. Also funny enough, the peasant girl can be converted to an executable (using FLI format and changing bg colour on some lines), whereas the Knight can't from what I gathered. Maybe with extra sprites on top, but that would require custom coding.

I would love to see some proper C64 MCAL format stuff from you :)

It would actually be pretty easy to get both under restrictions for the C64. Really nice work either way tho

They rock! (wasn't there a third one?). For some reason I preferred the closed mouth on the peasant girl that you had in a previous version. Seemed more emotive I dunno...

good job.

regarding the tools for C64 pixeling you can use Grafx2 but I think the better options are: "Project 1", "Pixcen" and "Timanthes". All three can be found on CSDB (http://csdb.dk)

Nice work, I think there is a free application (windows)  that you can load images into and it detects whether it conforms to the system restrictions, can't remember the name though. I think Grafx2 may have a script that does the same thing....
