That sky is absolutely gorgeous, you used an excellent reference and excecuted it perfectly. The colors are so beautiful. So is her face and torsoe, the only parts that I'd say could use a ilttle touch ups is her arms and hat, other than that this is very lovely, good job :D And good luck on your thesis X3
Reminds me of Ghost in the Shell's Major Kusanagi a little.
She looks a bit lumpy. Otherwise it looks excellent, maybe som more AA is needed.

really nice pixelling, but her upper chest / lower neck area looks very odd. kind of like it's bugling or something. might want to smoothen that area out a bit
