Limes: Its a beholder (cacodemon) type creature - that's its profile firing frame, gulping up a big glowing plasmaball.
Bathmaster 2000: Thanks. I originally painted it in deep blues, then moved the index colors over to a more subtle (and fitting) gradient.
Nice, reminds me of a demonic Pac-Man ^^
