Yes I have played Daggerfall. Except for the clunky interface it was really amazing. I would still prefer to play it rather than most of the modern games we have today. And I think that Daggerfall and Morrowind are better than Skyrim.

Ever play DAGGERFALL?  The biggest Elder Scrolls world that has ever been made.  Too big, really.  But worth checking out if you can get it for free (or cheaply).

Reminds me the monster sprites from "Witchaven" rather than Doom mostly because of the medieval theme of the sprite.

Yeah, I guess that is a Heretic sprite.  Yet it showed up under my "DOOM" image search on google and I didn't know the difference...

I was about to post that this fitted more the Heretic / Hexen world, and then saw the sprite you used for inspiration. Very nice concept and animation!

...which is only 4 frames of animation.  Mine has 6.  The originals are in many ways quite cruddy, but they do have their charm.

This is my favorite entry for the doom challenge. You've accomplished the depth, that original doom sprites have. This would fit well in the game.
