A polished and fixed up version of my most recent SwitchBlade concept sprite. Removed a couple of colors and added some shine using colors already there and brightening it up a bit. Tried giving him a sort of fighter style idle stance animation. I ain't overly good with these kinds of things but I'm pretty pleased with this. Wasn't sure of it at first but I've got real used to it. The legs sorta snap back into place but when I tried smoothing that out I just felt it lost something. Looks good in the current game engine too so I'm satisfied. Ideally viewed at 640x480 resolution as the game is also that res. Best I get cracking on some actual movement and gameplay animations now...

Absurdly detailed! All I can say is very very slick work, the character design is detailed and varied but everything can still be made out very clearly. Yes, the only thing that got me was the animation of the legs, but it's really only a minor problem. God, I'd love to see this guy running and attacking *drools*
